PURPOSE: A gold code sequence despreading device using a dual delay mask is provided to miniaturize the gold code sequence despreading device, in a communication system using a gold code sequence having a non-linear cycle in scrambling or spreading. CONSTITUTION: Delay mask tables(32,33) are arranged. A code sequence generator generates a delayed code sequence having a non-linear cycle, using a dual structure of delay masks by the delay mask tables(32,33). A mixer(37) correlates the code sequence generated in the code sequence generator with a received signal. A detector(39) compares a result accumulating correlation values by the mixer(37) for a predetermined time with a preset threshold, to decide a code phase. And an index calculator(40) calculates an index of a mask value for shifting the code phase and outputs a corresponding delay mask to the delay mask tables(32,33), if a correct code phase is not decided in the detector(39). |
