PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an almost even light reflecting layer on a substrate for suppressing the deterioration of jitters and also to increase the lifetime of a target. SOLUTION: A light reflecting layer 208 is formed on a coloring matter recording layer 204 where the information can be recorded via a sputtering mechanism 88. In such a manufacturing method of an information recording medium, the mechanism 88 includes a target 518, a solenoid type electromagnet 520 that is placed opposite to the horizontal direction of the target 518 and a permanent magnet 522 of a coaxial columnar shape which is placed opposite to the vertical direction of the target 518 and has it's outer and inner circumference sides defined as N and S poles respectively. The electromagnet 520 is connected to a DC power supply 521 via a controller 519 that can control the intensity of the current flowing to the electromagnet 520. |
