PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame detector, with which a noise component contained in a detecting signal outputted from a detecting sensor is suppressed in simple configuration, an original flame detecting component is satisfactorily extracted and amplified and a flame is more exactly decided. SOLUTION: This flame detector has a sensor part SEN provided with plural photodetectors 10a-10d for converting infrared energy to an electric signals and outputting them, a filtering part FLT for passing only signal components Aa-Ad of a prescribed frequency band out of respective detecting signals Sa-Sd outputted from the sensor part SEN, an adding and amplifying part AMP for adding (integrating) the signal components Aa-Ad and amplifying the signals and a signal processing part PRO for deciding the flame from amplified output from the adding and amplifying part AMP.
