PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound absorbing material which effectively solves the remedy for air pollution and noise problem. SOLUTION: This sound absorbing material consists of at least a fibrous structure and particles having photocatalyst performance is adhered to part of the fiber surfaces constituting this fibrous structure.
