PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed wiring board design support system which actualizes component arrangement design permitting efficient wiring design of high quality by indicating optimum component arrangement positions when a nonconnection guide which is electrically connected to other components is wired in the printed wiring board design. SOLUTION: The printed wiring board design support system is equipped with a decision means which extracts only a nonconnection guide having a wiring restriction value set when a component electrically connected to other components is arranged, a component arrangement control means which computes and displays a component moving vector indicating the best component arrangement position for the nonconnection guide extracted by the decision means, and a selecting means which properly selects the display mode of the component moving vector computed from the wiring restriction value, virtual wiring length, and a wiring result coefficient and displayed in the case of calculating the component moving vector.
