PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor machine of an air conditioner with an increased external appearance wherein noise is reduced, ventilating performance for wind pressure is improved, and further a mounting section of a fan cover is prevented from being viewed by mounting a mesh shaped fan cover and constructing a bellmouth provided across and upper blowoff outlet into a double structure. SOLUTION: A suction inlet 2 is provided on a front of a body casing 1 and/or on a rear portion of the same with a blowoff outlet 3 provided on an upper portion of the same. There are further provided in the casing a compressor and a heat exchanger facing the suction inlet 2, and an air fan composed of a fan motor facing the blowoff outlet 3 and an air fan. Further, there is provided a bellmouth 9 at the blowoff outlet, to which bellmouth a mesh shaped fan cover is attached. In an outdoor machine of an air conditioner thus constructed, the foregoing bellmouth is adapted such that the lower portion is connected to the outdoor machine through the connection portion 9c, and the outdoor machine is formed into a double structure with an internal peripheral side 9a and an external peripheral side 9b, and further an upper portion of the internal peripheral side is covered with the foregoing fan cover.
