PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera that has a half mirror that can be retracted from an optical path and an optical finder that receives the reflected light of the half mirror, can flexibly conduct exposure control despite of its small size and hardly cause deterioration in the image quality. SOLUTION: A user designates the sensitivity of an imaging device and when the user designates a comparatively high sensitivity, the half mirror is made to act as a quick return mirror, and the digital camera photographs a recording image. When the user designates a comparatively low sensitivity, the digital camera photographs a recording image while keeping the half mirror on the optical path. The user sets a sensitivity that cannot be set by only the position of the half mirror by also using adjustment of an output gain of the imaging device. |
