<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproofing treatment device for a covered cable terminal joint part, capable of ensuring for either the cases where the cable is a combined line constituted of a plurality of lines or is formed out of a plurality of lines having different diameters, sealability between a die for cover molding and it, in applying waterproof treatment to the terminal joint part o the cable by performing cover molding with molten resin. SOLUTION: Elastic blocking plates 53, 63, 73, 83, attached to the front ends of blocking mechanisms 50, 60, 70, 80 disposed radically at one side opening part of the mold part of a molding die 40 which opens to lead out a cable 10 to the outside of the mold part, are brought by integrally-moving the respective mechanisms in the centripetal direction, into pressure contact from all directions with the entire periphery of the cable 10 for elastic catching. A accordingly, molten resin leakage out of the die from the mold part can be prevented and even if the cable 10 comprises lines 10A, 10B having different diameters, bring intimate contact without clearances, with these respective lines, thereby ensuring high sealability.</p> |
