PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To commonly use the printed board of an indoor unit, in the controller for a slit type air conditioner having the indoor unit and an outdoor unit. SOLUTION: This controller for the air conditioner comprises an outdoor communication means 2 for transmitting and receiving data to and from an outdoor unit 1, and an outdoor transmitting means 3 for transmitting the presence or absence of the load of the outdoor unit as machine type data. Thus, the indoor unit 4 has a first indoor communicating means 5 for transmitting and receiving data to and from the unit 4, and a first indoor receiving means 6 for controlling, base on the transmitted type data of the outdoor unit. In this case, when the indoor unit selects special purpose data from the type of the outdoor unit connected to the indoor unit for controlling the indoor unit by receiving the type data, the printed board of the indoor unit can be used commonly. |
