PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary cell device, capable of charging a secondary cell positively to its full charging condition and effectively in a short time, without being affected by fluctuations in charging current or ambient temperature. SOLUTION: This secondary cell device comprises a pulse-charging start means, which turns on/off a switching element in a prescribed cycle for pulse charging of the secondary cell when terminal voltage Vb exceeds a first preset voltage V1 at charging of the secondary cell, a pulse-charging stopping means which stops pulse charging for conduction of the switching element, when the terminal voltage exceeds a second preset voltage at cutting of the switching element in pulse charging, and a charging stopping means which cuts off the switching element for stopping charging for the secondary cell, when the full charging of the secondary cell is detected after stopping pulse charging. |
