PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery case packaging material using a polypropylene film as an inner layer material, having few crack even after being bent and heat-sealed and giving almost no leak voltage. SOLUTION: This polymer battery packaging material comprises an outer layer film 1, consisting of a biaxial oriented polyester film or a biaxial oriented polyamide film having a thickness of 9-50 microns, laminated on the single face of an aluminum foil 2 and an undrawn polypropylene film 3, having ethylene content of 0.2-10 mol%, a thickness of 20-60 microns and a double refractive index of 0.1-5.0×10-3, laminated on the other outsidemost face. The overall thickness of the packaging material is 150 microns or smaller.
