PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for increasing the height of an existing antenna tower by which the height of the existing antenna tower is increased without causing a radio wave interference, while using an existing antenna installed on the existing tower so as to attain installation of new antennas. SOLUTION: This existing antenna tower is classified into an antenna installation upper part 12, on which the existing antennas 131-133 and a support lower part 11 supporting the upper part. The antenna installation upper part is sequentially built up in a plurality of stages, height-increasing structures 20A-20C are sequentially added to a lower gap of the antenna installation upper part after each stage is built up, the lowermost height increasing structure 20C is fixed to the support lower side 11 and new antennas 13A-13C are installed to the height increasing structures added to the antenna installation upper part. Since the antenna installation upper part and the support lower part of the existing antenna tower are used for this height-increasing work, no acquisition of a new tower lot is required.
