PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode active material slurry composition for a lithium secondary battery for improving the service life of the battery, and a method of manufacturing a negative electrode for the lithium secondary battery, using the negative electrode active material slurry composition. SOLUTION: This negative electrode active material slurry composition for the lithium secondary battery contains a negative electrode active material, a compound containing an element selected from the groups consisting of transition metals, alkaline metals, alkaline earth metals and semimetals, and an organic solvent. The negative electrode for the lithium secondary battery is manufactured, by rolling the negative electrode active material slurry composition for the lithium secondary battery, after applying the negative electrode active material slurry composition to a current collector and then drying the current collector. |
