PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical conversion connector that is not affected by the specification of applied communication system, installed simply at a low cost and can furthermore promote buildup of a communication system utilizing an optical fiber cable and to provide an optical receiver provided with the optical conversion connector. SOLUTION: The optical conversion connector 10A roughly consists of at least a light emitting element PD that converts (photoelectric conversion) an optical signal into an electric signal in the inside of a single cylindrical case 11, an input side connector 12 connected to an optical fiber 41 at one end of the case 11, and an output side connector 13 connected to a signal processing circuit 31 that applies prescribed signal processing such as amplification processing to the electric signal converted from the optical signal by the light receiving element PD. The optical signal received via an input terminal In (input side connector 12) is converted into an electric signal, which is outputted from an output terminal Out (output side connector 13). |
