PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patch antenna of a dual configuration, having frequencies which are separated by about twice from each other that can be configured with a small area and thin thickness and can independently adjust the characteristics with respect to the respective frequencies, in spite of its using one feeding point. SOLUTION: This patch antenna has an open section provided in one side of a patch conductor with a feeding terminal in-between, a short-circuit section provided to the patch conductor at its opposite side to the open section with the feeding terminal in-between, a 1st slit provided to a feeder nearly perpendicularly and provided to nearly the middle of the patch conductor, a 2nd slit provided in the open section adjacent to the feeder on the patch conductor, and a 3rd slit provided to the short-circuit section adjacent to the feeder on the patch conductor.
