PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter for a liquid crystal which hardly causes alignment failure or the like. SOLUTION: In the color filter for a liquid crystal that a resin spacer 1 is adhered to one surface of the filter and a liquid crystal is supplied so as to be in contact with the aforementioned surface, the center line average roughness (Ra) of the surface is specified to 1 to 20 nm.
