<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to connect a flat circuit unit with a connector surely and easily with a connector without using excessive parts. SOLUTION: A recess 57 is formed on an upper surface of a lower housing 52 of a connector 50, and a protrusion 58 is formed on a lower surface of an upper housing 53. A terminal of a flat circuit unit 40 is placed on the upper surface of the lower housing 52, a conductor 42 of a conductor-exposed portion 43 is spanned over the recess 57, and a selvage 44 with an insulator 41 being left is engaged with an engagement protrusion 62. Under such condition, the housing 53 is covered and locked, thereby fitting the protrusion 58 into the recess 57, and while pushing the conductor 42 into the recess 57, sandwiching the conductor 42 with the recess 57 and the protrusion 58. As a result, the conductor 42 comes into contact tightly with another conductor 70 at the side of the lower housing 52.</p> |
