摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxially oriented polyester film for a capacitor which has heat resistance, insulating property, and ability to reduce thickness of polyethylene-2,6-naphthalene dicarboxylate, reconciles workability with the space factor and insulation characteristics, and sharply improves the productivity. SOLUTION: This polymer component, constituting the biaxially oriented polyester film, is composed of the polyethylene-2,6-naphthalene dicarboxylate and the center-line and ten-point average heights (Ra and Rz) of the film are 40-90 nm and 1,000-1,800 nm, respectively. In addition, the number of coarse particles having diameters exceeding 40μm and existing in the film is adjusted to <=10 particles/m2, and the value of the AC volume resistivity of the film when the film melts (300 deg.C) is between 5×107Ω.cm and 1×109Ω.cm.
