PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide improved collecting efficiency and high energy density for an electrical energy accumulating device, such as a lithium-ion secondary battery, capable of extracting power generated by a wound electrode body 7 in a sealed case from a pair of electrode terminals to the outside. SOLUTION: In this high-energy accumulating device, at least one of positive and negative electrodes constituting the wound electrode body 7 has a plurality of protruded collecting tabs 8 spaced from one another along the edges of the wound electrode body 7 in the winding axis direction. These tabs 8 are connected to electrode terminal portions via a collecting plate 3. The collecting plate 3 is formed, by bonding a plurality of plate members 31-34 with one another, and the ends of the plurality of collecting tabs 8 are dispersed and held among the bonded faces of the plate members 31-34.
