PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb an electrolyte discharge from the internal of a battery and maintain exhaust passage, when a safety valve member is opened. SOLUTION: A battery pack, which stores the battery incorporating the safety valve member in the part of the sealing portion of a facing case has an insulator for preventing short-circuit between an external input/output terminal and the end face of the bagged facing case. When the safety valve member is opened at a low pressure, the electrolyte discharged from the internal of the battery is absorbed by an absorbing member, and when it is opened at a high pressure, the insulator having an easy-to-destruct portion maintains the exhaustion passage. |
