PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving method for a semiconductor display device capable of displaying a sharp and high definition image without flickers, vertical and lateral stripes visually recognized by a user. SOLUTION: This is a driving method for semiconductor display device characterized in that video signals inputted to each pixel electrode of plural pixels are reversed in polarity with respect to the potential of the counter electrodes for every frame period, and the frame periods differ in length frame period by frame period.
