PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the electronic musical instrument useful for key depressing practice for playing an electronic musical instrument by improving the visibility of a navigate display of key depressing timing. SOLUTION: The instrument has an automatic playing function that automatic playing data beforehand prepared are successively read by every prescribed amount whenever an operator is operated. The instrument is provided with a guide display means which conduct guide displaying of the operation timing of the operator based on the data over plural rows and a display control means which separates the guide display for the operation timing and the strength of the depressing into the guide display relative to a melody part and the guide display for an accompaniment part and displays these displays. When a user looks at the navigate display displayed on a display 21, the user recognizes not only key depressing timing and key depressing strength but also the selection of a left or a right hand for the key depressing and the strength required for the key depressing.
