PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure container mainly made of the synthetic resin and to be filled with the compressed gas such as the natural gas, oxygen and nitrogen or the liquefied petroleum gas and improved in the gas sealing property at a port part thereof, to which a container valve fitting member or a container valve is fitted. SOLUTION: This pressure container is formed of a container body 1 having the multiple layered structure formed of an inner cylinder 2 made of the synthetic resin having the gas barrier characteristic and an outer cylinder 3 made of the synthetic resin showing the pressure resistant strength, a metal port member 4 provided at an end of the container body, a metal container valve fitting member 5 installed in the port member or a container valve. The container valve fitting member 5 has a cylindrical insertion part 55 to be inserted into a neck part 42 of the port member 4, and when it is inserted into the port member 4, a tip of the insertion part 55 reaches in the vicinity of a bottom part 41 of the port member 4.
