PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the half-inserted state of a terminal at a low cost without increasing the number of parts. SOLUTION: In a connector 1, one end of a terminal housing chamber 3 in a connector housing 2 is open as a mating terminal-inserting opening part 3a and the other end is open as a self-terminal-inserting opening part 3b. The connector housing 2 is provided with a locking lance 4 extended to the self- terminal-inserting opening part 3b side. The connector housing 2 is provided with a conductor pin-inserting chamber 10 located at a side providing elastic deformation to the locking lance 4 in inserting a female terminal 6 and open to the mating terminal-inserting opening part side. The locking lance 4 is provided with a half-insertion detecting projected part 11 projected to the conducting pin-inserting chamber 10 at the opposite side of a locking part 4a. The half-insertion detecting projected part 11 allows insertion of a conduction inspection pin 12 inserted in the conducing pin-inserting chamber 10 when the locking lance 4 has elastic non-deformation. The half-insertion detecting projected part 11 inhibits the insertion of the conduction inspection pin 12 inserted in the conducting pin-inserting chamber 10 when the locking lance 4 is in an elastically deformed state.
