PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a refrigeration system in which a motor expansion valve is driven surely, flow rate of refrigerant is prevented from becoming uncontrollable through the expansion valve, a compressor is prevented from burning due to temperature rise and a bearing is prevented from burning due to liquid back. SOLUTION: This refrigeration system comprises a compressor 121, an outdoor heat exchanger 123, a direct type motor expansion valve Z, and an indoor heat exchanger 131. A simple refrigerant of R32 or an R32 rich mixture refrigerant containing more than 50 wt.% of R32 is employed. The drive motor X of the direct driven type motor expansion valve Z comprises a permanent magnet 4 of ferrite magnet or alnico magnet. The compressor 121 comprises a swing type high pressure dome type compressor. Furthermore, a refrigerating machine oil containing polyvinyl ether as base oil is provided.
