摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency by extending the on time of the switching element of a circuit, reducing the oscillation frequency, and reducing power consumption in a self-oscillation chopper circuit. SOLUTION: In the self-oscillation chopper circuit, where a capacitor 7 is charged through an inductor 5 when a switching element 1 is turned on, the switching element 1 is turned off by turning off a transistor 2 with an IC 4 for detecting the output voltage, when the voltage of the capacitor 7 increases for discharging from the capacitor to a load 24, the transistor 2 is turned on by the IC 4 for detecting the output voltage when the voltage of the capacitor 7 drops for turning on the switching element 1, and charging current is allowed to flow to the capacitor 7 via the inductor 5. In the chopper circuit, a resistor 17 and a diode 9 are connected in series between a reference voltage terminal A for dividing the voltage of the IC 4 for detecting the output voltage with at least two resistors 13 and 14, and the collector for the transistor 2.
