PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IF group delay compensation device which eliminates delay time distortion. SOLUTION: An IF group delay compensation device 1 is provided in a TV transmitter 71, of which the output side a band pass filter 72 or a channel synthesizer is connected to, and compensates group delay distortion of an intermediate frequency band signal in the TV transmitter and has group delay characteristics opposite to those of the band pass filter or the channel synthesizer which is connected to the TV transmitter.
