PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust the balance of cell of a set-battery generating a high voltage, without using a complicated control circuit and a high voltage resistance voltage determining circuit. SOLUTION: Each cell is easily well balanced, by sequentially repeating the connection with the cell with a voltage-holding apparatus CD1 which is sequentially switched with switches S11 to S62 from both ends of the serially connected cells CE1 to CE6.
