PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve a problem that at least an energy for resisting against a latent heat due to the change of phase and the viscosity of operating fluid is necessitated in the conventional heat pipe, in which the operating fluid such as water or the like is sealed. SOLUTION: A heat transfer device or a meandering closed loop heat pipe 1 having a heat receiving unit 2 and a heat radiating unit 3 is characterized in that carbon dioxide under supercritical condition is sealed in the internal space 1a of the same. According to this method, the operating fluid can be circulated in the heat pipe 1 with a small energy and a highly efficient heat transfer is permitted.
