PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forced cooling type totally enclosed dynamo-electric machine, where the stator winding is not contaminated, even if it is installed under severe environment, and the service life of bearing lubricant can be prolonged, and the interval between maintenances is long, and moreover the noise is low. SOLUTION: An air guide casing 20, which introduces cooling air sent from an electromotive fan 40 into the outside flank of a bracket 10 on the opposite side to the direct coupling of a totally enclosed induction motor 17 and discharges it in the direction parallel to the outer wall of a frame 1, is attached to the outside flank of the bracket 10 on opposite side to direct coupling so that it surrounds the mounting section of the bracket 10 and a bearing 11 on the opposite side to direct coupling within a ventilation path, and an air guide cover 16, which guides cooling wind in the direction parallel to the mounting part of a bracket 12 and a bearing 13 on the side of direct coupling, is attached to a frame 1 and the bracket 12 on the side of direct coupling, and a rotary shaft 35 is provided with a ventilation hole 36, which opens within the ventilation path of the air guide casing 20 and also opens in the surface of the rotary shaft 35 in the vicinity of the mounting part of the bearing 12 on the side of direct coupling.
