PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a viewer for observing the picture of a mount film and a joint adapter for viewers which connects two viewers, in which the operability is compatible with the improvement of performance. SOLUTION: A support part 108 is provided which receives and supports a mount film 300 inserted through an insertion hole 107, and a casing 101 is made smaller on the side of an observation window 103 that on the side of the insertion hole 107, and a face 109 from the observation port 103 of the casing 101 up to the support part 108 and a face 110 on the side opposite up to the face 109 are inclined at an angle of 5 deg. to 10 deg. to the horizontal surface including the line of sight when the mount film 300 inserted into the casing 101 is looked out of the observation window 103.
