PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light wavelength measuring device having no mechanical moving section for measuring the wavelength of a light source oscillating in a single mode, having a small size, and facilitating an optical axis adjustment. SOLUTION: This light wavelength measuring device is provided with an optical element (lens) converting the outgoing light from an input fiber into parallel light, a half-split light receiver arranged with a first spectral element arranged on the optical axis of the parallel light from the fiber and making the spectral diffraction of the parallel light and a second spectral element receiving the light spectrally diffracted by the first spectral element face to face and receiving the parallel light from the second spectral element, and a means for determining the wavelength with a signal processing circuit section processing both light intensity signals from both light receiving faces of the half-split light receiver.
