PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability of measured data while consuming few measuring man-hours even if there are many measuring points for measuring the gap of a fitting part of a disc wheel. SOLUTION: A disc wheel 1, having the fitting part 1a where a rim 2 and a disc 3 are fitted, is disposed in a water tank 11, a rim side ultrasonic probe 22 is disposed apart from the outside of the rim at the fitting part 1a in water contained in the water tank 11, and a disc side ultrasonic probe 23 is disposed apart from the inside of the disc at the fitting part 1a in the water tank 11, and the water tank 11 is turned and moved vertically, to compute the gap of the fitting part 1a, using both probes 22, 23.
