PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transfer system for reducing the usage of a DRAM at transfer of data, whose CRC is operated between a semiconductor disk constituted of a DRAM and a host computer. SOLUTION: At transfer of data between a host device 100 and an electronic disk sub-system SS, equipped with a memory part 121 constituted of a DRAM CRC is operated as error check, and the presence or absence of an error which is the CRC result is added to data as a flag bit constituted of one bit, and the data are transferred and stored in the memory part 121. Therefore, since a CRC constituted of, for example, 24 bits is not added to the data, usage of the memory part can be reduced.
