The invention relates to a process for making concrete slabs, wherein, in a first step, the concrete is spilt into some drawers which have a reciprocal translation movement above a die which is filled and concomitantly vibrated by a vibratory table supporting the die, followed by compressing with a punch concomitantly with vibrating by means of the electrical vibrators located on the punch, the vibrocompression ceasing upon reaching the desired slab height. Stripping is carried out after moving the die above a pallet having a polyethylene film spread thereon, which is located on an elevator. The steps are repeated until obtaining a packaged slab packet of the pre-established height, said packet being pushed by a mechanism onto a roller conveyor. The process is applied by means of an installation which comprises a vibratory table (A), an elevator (B), a mechanism for spreading the polyethylene film (C) and a mechanism (D) for pushing the pallet.
