The invention relates to a honing tool which is an integral part of the honing machines and is applicable to perform the manual honing operation with adoptive control, mainly upon performing the automatic honing with adoptive control of the honing machines. According to the invention, the tool comprises the tool body (13) with an extension cone (15) sliding therein, said extension cone radially displacing the pilot bushings (22 and 28) integral with the supports (24 and 27) provided with threaded holes (m) located at various angles and in which there are mounted the prism-holdes (12) containing the honing prisms (16) which ensure the radial travel on honing in the initial position for a new honing operation.
