<p>The hinge consists of fixed component (20) on the body (1) of the vehicle, a moving component (30) on the door (2), and an intermediate component (40) connected to the other two by pivots (11, 15). It incorporates a mechanism (60) to hold door in maximum open position against side of vehicle, comprising a cam lever (61) with one end connected to the intermediate component of the hinge by a pivot (62), and the other end (61b) having a recess (64) engaging with a stop (65) in the form of a roller (65a) pivoted on the fixed component. A second roller (71) on a pivoted plate (70) is pressed against the back of the cam lever by a spring (75), while a notch (76) on the back of the lever holds the hinge and door in an intermediate position.</p> |
