PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the cable-retaining device of electric equipment, that can be suspended due to dead weight by detachably and rotatably mounting one end of a curved presser plate for pressing a cable to the substrate of the electric equipment. SOLUTION: In the cable-retaining device of electric equipment, where a cable is pinched by a substrate 1 and a presser plate 4 by engaging one end of the curved presser plate 4 for pressing the cable to the substrate 1 of the electric equipment, a rotary shaft 5 is provided nearly horizontally at a cutout part 13 of the substrate 1, the rotary shaft 5 is rotatably engaged by a pair of engaging nibs 6 being opposingly provided at one end of the presser plate 4, and the pair of engaging nibs 6 are attached to or detached from the rotary shaft 5, thus mounting the presser plate 4 to the substrate 1 so that it can be attached and detached freely.
