PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency in assembling. SOLUTION: A connector comprise a housing 10 comprising a housing space 11 which can contain an electric part 28 and a part-receiving entrance 12 which receives the electric part 28 into the housing space 11, a terminal fitting 20 which is fitted to the housing 10 in such a way as the connecting part 24 with the electric part 28 faces the housing space 11, and a pressing piece 25 which is installed at the part-receiving entrance 12 and holds the electric part 28 clamping and pressing with the inner surface of the housing space 11. In fitting the connector, without using fillers, the electric part 28 is held firmly without looseness and connected to the terminal fitting 20, simply by installing the pressing piece 25 at the part-receiving entrance 12.
