PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector having an electrical wire holding part to hold an electrical wire with sufficient orthogonal holding force for the electrical wire regardless of a resin material of the coating of the electrical wire. SOLUTION: Plural electrical wire holding pieces 6 are arranged in a row with gaps in sufficient size for storing and disposing electrical wires 10 in a housing 2. An elastically deformable electrical wire pressing piece 7 is made to project at one of a pair of the electrical wire holding pieces 6 to extend over the extended center line L between the pair of the electrical wire holding pieces 6 toward the other of the pair of the electrical wire holding pieces 6. A contact piece is formed projecting from the other of the pair of the electrical wire holding pieces 6 so that it can contact the tip of the electrical wire pressing piece 7 which can be elastically deformed upward.
