PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication controller and a communication changeover control method that can simplify hardware control in duplicate changeover control and restart control by duplicate changeover in an active/standby configuration, reduce a duplicate changeover processing time and enhance the communication capability. SOLUTION: On the occurrence of a call recovery due to failure occurrence at a signal processing section 123, a communication control section 122 in a standby system is provided with a call recovery object table and a call interruption object table, and on the occurrence of duplicate changeover due to a failure in a communication control section 121 during the call recovery processing, the call recovery processing is continued to make information coincident. In the case that a failure takes place in the signal processing section 123 during duplicate changeover processing due to the failure occurrence in the signal processing section 121, a communication control section 122 of a new active system is provided with a call recovery object table and a call interruption object table so as to continue the call recovery processing, thereby making the information coincident. |
