PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biosensor having high reliability capable of accurately, rapidly and simply quantitatively determining the sucrose in a sample. SOLUTION: The biosensor comprises an electrode system having a measuring electrode 4 and a paired electrode 5 on an insulating board 1, and a reaction layer 7 in contact with the system and containing a hydrophilic polymer, an electron acceptor and an enzyme. In the biosensor, the layer carries an invertase of 1 U/cm2 or more, a mutarotase of 1 U/cm2 or more and a glucose oxidase of 5 U/cm2 or more as the enzyme. |
