PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas meter improving the work efficiency at gas replacement and preventing a counted value from being forgotten to be reset at container replacement. SOLUTION: A counting means 42a-1 in an LP(liquefied petroleum) gas remainder control means 42a-3 counts each time the prescribed gas used quantity is measured with a meter 4. The LP gas remainder control means 42a-3 warns that the remainder of an LP gas container is decreased when the counted value becomes a predetermined value. The LP gas container is replaced based on the warning, a switching action is taken for switching the gas container on the supply side to the feed side, and a signal generating means 22 generates a switching signal in response to this switching action in a pressure regulator. A reset means 42a-2 automatically resets the counted value in response to the generation of the switching signal.
