PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a product sales system capable of transmitting production history information to consumers. SOLUTION: A producer 14 encodes the production history information on the product 40 by using an information encoding means 11, records the production history information on an information recording medium 41, attaches it to the product 40 or its package and ships it. A retailer receiving the product 40 reads the information in the information recording medium 41 by using an information decoding means 21, decodes the product history information and displays the production history information to a consumer coming to the store as the product information on the product 40 by using an information displaying means 22. |
