PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-wave common use antenna that can be made to resonate with a radio wave having two different frequencies, in spite of its being a single antenna and used, e.g. for an antenna for a portable telephone and an antenna for a PHS terminal. SOLUTION: This antenna is mounted removably onto a device main body (10) of a wireless communication device. When the antenna is extended, a stationary side reduction type (including a helical or meander type or the like) antenna element (110), in resonance with a 1st frequency band and a whip antenna element (130) which is in resonance with a 2nd frequency band lower than the 1st frequency band are simultaneously in operation. When the antenna is housed, the stationary side reduction type antenna element (110) and a moving side reduction type (including helical or meander type or the like) antenna element (150) provided to a tip of the whip antenna element (130) are in double resonance with each other. |
