PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated film for a battery, which is thin and light- weight and has superior barrier property against steam or the like, resistance to an electrolyte or an acid and as well as characteristics of thermal adhesion and molding into a tray, and which is suited to an outer package for a lithium polymer battery, and a battery case using the same, having improved performance. SOLUTION: This laminated film 50 for a battery comprises a laminate, in which, at least an epoxy based resin layer 1 of thickness 5-10μm, a metal foil layer 2 of thickness 20-50μm, a thermally adhesive resin layer 3 of thickness 30-40μm are laminated sequentially from the outside. The battery case is formed by molding the laminated film into a thin flanged tray vessel or forming it into a four-side sealed bag. An aluminum foil is used for the metal foil layer 2 with the surface preferably being chromate treated. The thermally adhesive resin layer 3 is preferably a single layer of polypropylene or acid modified polypropylene or a combined of them.
