PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent consecutive photographing frame speed from lowering and a finder disappearing time from getting long caused in the consecutive photographing in the conventional mirror-up timing. SOLUTION: In this camera system where the focusing driving control of a photographing lens is performed by calculating the target driving amount of the photographing lens, based on the detected result on the focus state of the photographing lens by focus detection means 4 and 5, and which is provided with light guide means 1 and 3 moving between a light guide position where they guide luminous flux in the optical path of the photographing lens to the focus detection means so as to detect the focus state and a retreat position where they are retreated to the outside of the optical path so as to perform photographing operation; the real driving amount of the photographing lens after starting the focusing driving control is detected, the remaining driving amount of the photographing lens is calculated from the detected real driving amount and the target driving amount, and the light guide means starts to move from the light guide position to the retreat position at the point when the remaining driving amount becomes a specified amount equal to the driving amount of the photographing lens in the time required to move the light guide means from the light guide position to the retreat position. |
