PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To call the exchange of a battery by generating a pre-alarm before the output voltage of the battery becomes the bottom driving voltage of an alarm output part concerning a medium storage device having a burglar function. SOLUTION: A residual detecting part 34 detects the output voltage of a battery 31 and before the output voltage of the battery becomes the bottom driving voltage of the alarm output part, an LIED 35 is emitted by a CPU control part (CPU) 33. Thus, the pre-alarm is reported to a maintenance person or the like and the battery 31 is exchanged. Since power is supplied from an auxiliary battery 36 to the LED 35, even when the pre-alarm is generated, the residual decrease speed of the battery 31 is not accelerated.
