PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the erroneous action of a detector and the clogging of a passage by preventing the stagnation of a lubricating oil in a communication path causing them. SOLUTION: This pressure detecting device is provided with a block-like main body 10, a communication path 11 formed in the main body 10 to communicate with a passage F, a rod R movable to two positions including an advance position A where one end section Ra is located nearly flush with the wall face forming the passage F or protruded into the passage F from the wall face and a retreat position B where one end section Ra is separated from the passage F side, a detector 30 fitted to the main body 10 via a fitting body 20 and detecting the other end section Rb of the rod R to be operated at the retreat position B of the rod R, and a spring S invariably exciting the rod R to the advance position A side. The grease G flowing into the communication path 11 when the rod R is located at the retreat position B is returned to the passage F when the rod R is moved to the advance position A.
