PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk recorder in which the connecting portion of the recorded data is easily processed and recording data are continuously written once without leaving any substantial connecting portion. SOLUTION: A disk recorder is constituted in such a way that, when a signal synchronizing means 20 reads data recorded on a disk for synchronizing recorded data outputted from an encoder 11, the recorder switches the operation clock supplied from a system clock generating circuit 21 to the encoder 11 from a clock for recording to a channel bit clock and synchronizes the recorded data outputted from the encoder 11 to the data recorded on the disk by using the data stored in a memory 13 when new input data are inputted to the encoder 11 in a state where the encoder 11 is operated for modulation synchronously to the channel bit clock. In this way, the recorder once writes interleaved recording data continuously from the data recorded on the disk immediately before the recording is interrupted.
